I'm so excited about my new video lesson based on John F. Kennedy's "We choose to go to the Moon" speech:
"We choose to go to the Moon" is one of the most famous speeches of all time. It was given by John F. Kennedy during the Cold War when the United States had decided to support the Apollo Program, the national effort to land a man on the moon. The speech's goal was to convince the public that getting to the moon was a worthwhile venture.
This resource is multidisciplinary, it will work great for science history, social studies, and language arts!
This video based lesson includes 2 video versions of the speech:
✅One version includes visual text only (like a lyric video)
✅Another version which is aligned to John F. Kennedy's actual speaking during the speech.
✅A pdf file of the speech slides
✅A while-watching fill in the blank (cloze) worksheet
✅2 more worksheets for before and after viewing
